Lianne loves turning ideas into creative works and believes that good design doesn’t just look great, it also tells a story.
Her passion for all things art and design, combined with a talent that allows her to find unique ways to incorporate messages into her visuals, sets her creative ideas apart from the rest. With just a piece of paper and a pencil she has the insight to turn ideas into illustrations and bring design solutions to life.
A 2014 graduate of the Alberta College of Art + Design, Lianne earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications Design with a major in graphic design. She also received an Applied Arts Student Award for her work on book designs.
Fully bilingual in English and French, she brings several years of experience as a graphic designer from working with the Municipality of Lac La Biche County in Alberta. There she focused on branding for a suite of communication materials (annual events, programs and publications), developed marketing strategies and ensured all design materials were guided by a communication plan.
Lianne has spent most of her life in northern Alberta but is a traveller at heart and is not deterred by the winter cold Yellowknife offers. Athletic by nature, she is particularly excited by the many cross-country skiing adventures the North offers.
When not crafting or refurbishing second-hand treasures, it is not unusual to find her outside with a camera, enjoying photography as a creative outlet.
