The NWT and Nunavut Chamber of Mines’ annual Geoscience Forum in Yellowknife attracts mining-related companies from across the North and southern companies doing business in the North. Networking at this event is key to building relationships that turn into business ventures.
Det’on Cho wanted a unique booth experience for participants, and to ensure all conference attendees knew who the DCC Group of Companies are and the services they provide.
Tait planned a large booth that provided spaces for Det’on Cho Logistics, Det’on Cho Corporation and Bouwa Whee Catering. The seamless transition between companies highlighted the integration of their services. The focus of the booth was the large seating area and refreshments. The lounge-style seating allowed Det’on Cho representatives to have meaningful discussions with potential and existing clients in a comfortable setting. The refreshments, provided by Bouwa Whee, demonstrated the quality of food that the company regularly serves to mining camp employees. Tait also included backdrop signage, information packages, promotional swag and online presentations projected on big-screen TVs
The DCC Group of Companies’ booth proved to be a favourite among attendees. The layout was conducive to networking and the promotional collateral and information Tait designed provided participants with information on all Det’on Cho services and offerings.
