In June 2013, the GNWT released its Anti-Poverty Strategic Framework, which set the direction for addressing and preventing poverty in the NWT. In 2014, the government wrote the Anti-Poverty Action Plan to take specific steps toward achieving the vision of the framework. The GNWT needed design services to help communicate the action plan to the general public while keeping a look and feel similar to the strategic framework document.
Tait's design fit with the look and feel of the strategic framework document, while adding new visual elements to help communicate the priorities of the action plan. The multi-coloured semi circle shows how each priority is equally connected to the overall plan. Tait used this design to create both the full action plan and a four-page summary. Using an established Anti-Poverty brand allowed us to produce both documents in an extremely tight timeline.
