Our Services
No matter what kind of marketing communications you need, chances are, we do it. From strategic planning, media relations and workshop facilitation to advertising campaigns using traditional and new media, video production and graphic and web design, we cover the entire spectrum of marketing communications — with your success as our bottom line.
We take a strategic approach to each project, no matter how large or small. And best of all, we’re committed to providing an exceptional level of service and creating synergies that feed off of each other to create something extraordinary.
Social Marketing

Changing behaviour requires more than simply educating or providing information. You have to go much deeper — removing barriers, providing motivation and developing skills — to change behaviour.
People change their behaviour when the benefits of the new behaviour outweigh the benefits of what they’re doing now. You have to remove things that get in the way of change while creating compelling benefits to motivate change. And whether it’s about abstaining from alcohol during pregnancy, reducing energy use or committing to being smoke free, our approach to social marketing digs deep and achieves results.

Print Materials

Sometimes we need to touch, feel and experience as we read to get the full impact of a message. That’s why printed materials are still an important part of the communications mix — especially in the North where other forms of media are still relatively new. With our full-service creative team, we can deliver whatever form of printed material a project requires — from publications like newsletters, annual reports, and magazines to larger materials such as signs, displays and more.

Facilitation

When it comes to facilitation, cookie-cutter formats don’t exist at Tait. Whether it’s a workshop, community meeting, planning session or focus group, each session is as unique as our client.
We’ll create a creative, logical, and dynamic environment that’s responsive to the thinking styles of all participants. Your session may include context-setting, brainstorming, team tasks, round table discussions — or any combination of the tools in our repertoire. And when it’s over, we’ll provide a detailed report complete with analysis to help decide your next move.
Marketing Communications

What do you get when Tait marries the worlds of science and art in marketing communications? You get campaigns that make a difference and create change. We align our work with your objectives. We get to know you, your business, your target audiences, and what you ultimately want to achieve. Then we provide advice that works.
Backed by solid research, we blend traditional and non-traditional marketing methods such as print, radio, television, web, social media, and direct mail with sufficient frequency to generate attention, interest and action.
You’ll know we’ve added value to your business because every project starts with results in mind — and ends with a way to determine if those results were achieved.

Web & Social Media
When society changes direction, marketing communications must follow — and it is no different for web and new media. The Internet has created a democratization of media: it is people-owned, empowering, provides instant feedback and has changed how businesses market their brand, products and services — shifting away from a one-way push of information to a dialogue of ideas, opinions and social conscience.
In fact new media is now mainstream media, with social networking accounting for 1 out of every 6 minutes spent online*. It’s here to stay, and businesses can no longer communicate effectively without it.
Tait Communications understands the power of social media and knows how to wield it to help your organization have an online presence — whether the intent is for it to become part of your marketing communications program, or for a specific campaign.

Branding

A brand is the essence or promise of what will be delivered or experienced. It is more than just a logo or a tagline; it is the image that is evoked when the audience thinks about an organization.
When Tait Communications develops branding we research what people think, feel and do when they see your brand. Then we start with the end result in mind. We connect messages between what the company stands for and where it wants to go.
Branding is the sum of all of its parts:
Positioning — what your organization does, what it stands for and what makes you different;
Promise — the single most important thing that the organization promises to deliver to its customers —every time;
Personality — the traits that illustrate what the organization wants its brand to be known for;
Story — a mental image of the organization's history, along with how the history adds value and credibility to the brand; and
Associations — your name, logo, colors, taglines, fonts, imagery, advertisements — anything that is released to the public.
Once we've worked with you to develop and defined you brand, we begin building the brand with employees, customers, prospects and partners through consistent execution, which is key to the success of any branding exercise.
We help create this level of branding because we want your audience not only to recognize your brand, but also to understand what is unique about it, connect with it emotionally, see it as superior to others — and ultimately choose it over competing brands.

Graphic Design

The old saying “a picture paints a thousand words” has never been truer than when applied to good design. A well designed communications piece — whether it be a logo, a website, or a poster — relays emotion and a message in ways that words simply can’t.
Design works hand in hand with brand development because it tells you what you can expect from a company before you experience it. Great design helps your brand break through the clutter,
gets attention and draws the audience in.
At Tait we’re experts at breaking through the clutter and we have been creating lasting impressions with our graphic design since we opened our doors. It’s because we have such breadth of talent and experience that our design team consistently delivers quality design that can be tailored to all your promotional materials — creating the seamless brand.

Video
The evolution of video has made it more cost-effective and accessible to more businesses than ever before. With advances in technology the quality of video has gotten higher, allowing it to do more with less. But without a plan to communicate the message in a dynamic and engaging fashion whatever you have to say will not reach out and grab your audience the way it must in our crowded, visually over-stimulated world.
That’s where Tait comes in: we consider video to be an important part of the marketing mix. We also have the ability to craft the message behind the images, and the expertise to create video excellence — in a package that offers excellent value.
