Challenge
Some organizations embrace it; many fear it. ‘How will we “control” what people are saying on social media?’ is a common concern. Another is that many organizations just don’t understand what social media is, its purpose and prevalence, nor how to make the most of this powerful form of communication.
Solution
Tait developed a Social Media Policy as a template or starting point for clients in managing this powerful and pervasive tool. The policy sets out internet and social media ‘protocols’ while at the same time providing advice on best practices when the corporation receives bad ‘media’.
The Social Media Policy helps clients engage in social media in a consistent fashion, while it also offers Tait’s clients a baseline document to adapt and adopt for their own social media needs and uses.
