Challenge

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is debilitating and there is no cure. But it is 100 percent preventable. Our challenge was to help pregnant women in Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon get the support they need from their friends and family to be alcohol free during pregnancy.

Solution

We talked to pregnant women and their friends and families throughout the North. We learned that people want to support their pregnant friends — but they needed to know what support expectant mothers wanted.

With this in mind, we created an engaging campaign with a compelling message. The campaign showed there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy with family and friends that support a safe and alcohol free pregnancy.
